As a Basic Life Support Instructor, you will prepare students with knowlege, and skills to perfrom High Quality CPR, give care to someone in Respiratory arrest, an obstructed airway, and opoid overdose. Also prepare students to perform High quality BLS with a multi rescue team.

Requirements to become an BLS Instructor:

Must be accepted and aligned To an AHA Training Center

Must be certified as a BLS provider

Must complete the online BLS Instructor Essentials Course (shopcpr.heart.org)

Must schedule and complete a class monitoring after completing the Instructor Course.

Class location: Lanham MD 

Class time: 9:00AM-2:30PM

This class prepares the participant to teach basic level CPR and First Aid to Adult, children, and infants.

This class prepares the participant to teach basic level CPR to non health care workers, who need the knowledge, skill, and confidence to give care to someone in sudden caediac arrest, chocking, injured, or ill.  

Pre class requirement:

Must be certified in basic level cpr.

Must complete the online portion of the Instructor Course.

Class Time: 8:30am-4:30 pm

This course prepares the participant to teach CPR & First Aid to layresponders and non health care workers. Upon completion of this course the Participant will be certified to teach Adult Child, and Infant First Aid CPR AED.

This class prepares the participant to teach basic level CPR to non health care workers, giving them the knowledge, and skill to give care to someone in sudden cardiac arrest.

This course prepares the participant to teach Adult child, and Infant CPR, and First Aid to lay responders and non health care workers.

This class prepares the participant to provide High Quality BLS with Advanced Life Support providers.

 The BLS course has a focus on the Cardiac Chain of Survival, and how to perform BLS with a multirescue team.

This is a Blended learning class, and the online  session must be completed prior to the in person session.

Class time: 9:30am-11:30am

This is a blended learning class. Once the participant register for the course, you will receive a link to the online session which must be completed prior to the in-person session.

This class prepares the participant to give care to someone in sudden cardiac arrest, care for a choking victim, and perform high quality BLS with a multi-rescue team, with a focus on the cardiac chain of survival.

Time of class: 9:30am-11:30am
