As a Basic Life Support Instructor, you will prepare students with knowlege, and skills to perfrom High Quality CPR, give care to someone in Respiratory arrest, an obstructed airway, and opoid overdose. Also prepare students to perform High quality BLS with a multi rescue team.
Requirements to become an BLS Instructor:
Must be accepted and aligned To an AHA Training Center
Must be certified as a BLS provider
Must complete the online BLS Instructor Essentials Course (shopcpr.heart.org)
Must schedule and complete a class monitoring after completing the Instructor Course.

The BLS Instructor Course prepares the participant to teach Basic Life Support to Health Care workers. As a Basic Life Support Instructor, you will teach and prepare students how to perform BLS as part of a multi rescue team with other trained responders, also with a focus on the cardiac chain of survival. and how to perform High Quality BLS for an Adult child and Infant.

Must be a BLS provider
